PBR BLOG
With all the storylines still playing out it's an exciting time to be part of the broadcast

Hello cowboy nation.
I was looking over some interesting stats this morning and it looks to me like the health of the talent pool in the PBR is really good.Between our Top 3 guys in the world standings - Kody Lostroh, Guilherme Marchi and J.B. Mauney - they've won 11 of the 30 events, but what else caught my attention is that we've had six guys - Ryan Dirteater, Cody Ford, Ryan McConnel, Michael Manes, Cody Nance and Shane Proctor -who have won their first ever BFTS event this season, and two of them - Ford and Nance - have done it twice.
In fact, the last nine events have either been won by the Top 3 contenders for this year's title or else these new guys, who are really establishing themselves as the future of the PBR. And they're likely to be the guys who we see in a battle for the World Championship in the years to come.
These younger guys are pulling out wins in a pretty tough environment and then you have Brian Canter and Zack Brown each winning three events, so there are five other veteran riders - Travis Briscoe, Chris Shivers, Wiley Petersen, Ednei Caminhas and Kasey Hayes - each with an event win.
I thought that was an interesting look at some stats that unless they were brought to your attention you might not have ever thought about.
I talked last week about not squandering opportunities. Well, this is the last weekend for everybody to get as close as they can to whatever their goal is because we only have one BFTS event left at Mohegan Sun.
I'll be in the television booth this weekend and with all the storylines still playing out it's an exciting time to be part of the broadcast.
I can't wait for the World Finals so I can watch how all this plays out because, like I said before, I think, this is definitely going to be the most exciting Finals the PBR has ever had.
With all that said, I'm interested in hearing from all of you regarding who you think will win the World Champion and who you think will win the World Finals? And, just as importantly, why you think that?
Hope you guys enjoy the broadcast this weekend and I'll talk to you next week.
